Restrictions Minimum age to participate is 12 years old. This excursion is for certified divers who have dived in the last 12 months. A valid certification card and picture ID will be required at check in. Participants with heart conditions, a severe medical problem, who are or may be pregnant or who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted to dive. This is a moderate activity and an amount of strenuous exercise may occur.

Dive into one of the biggest barrier reefs in the Northern Hemisphere! This Roatan excursion lets you discover a beautiful underwater world. Expect to see stingrays, king crabs and other marine life on this unique Roatan diving excursion.

When you arrive at the Dive Center, the staff will give you all the necessary equipment for a fun, safe dive. You'll then proceed to one of four dive boats. If you're worried about overcrowding, don't be: Each dive is limited to 8 divers per instructor, so you won't feel like another face in the crowd. The dive sites are only 10 minutes away by boat, so no time will be wasted in getting started.

You'll be diving at the Meso-American Barrier Reef, which is the Northern Hemisphere's biggest barrier reef. This reef won't disappoint: The assortment of coral and aquatic life is among the best on earth. Lobsters, turtles, lionfish, and blue tangs are just a few of the creatures you might encounter during your dive. Your first dive will be the deepest; subsequent dives are more shallow.

Once you're done diving, you will have a chance to visit the beaches of West Bay for some shopping, dining and water sports. If time permits, you will also have access to the resort restaurant and the San Simon Beach Club at the gorgeous 5 star Mayan Princess Beach and Dive Resort for some R&R.
